Ö
Short film (18'), 2022

The boat docks at the same hour every day. Presence and absence both are announced by the cormorants' gossip echoing from every shoreline edge. Ö is an ambiguous nature study told through conspicuous seasons and adamant human rituals. In times of isolation and distancing, the geographical, social and psychological condition of the insular illustrates the contradictory desire for complete solitude and unconditional contact.
