The boat docks at the same hour every day. Presence and absence both are announced by the cormorants’ guttural gossip echoing from every shoreline edge.
Ö is a nature study told through conspicuous seasons and stubborn human rituals. In times of isolation and distancing, the insular here illustrates the contradictory desire for complete solitude and unconditional connection.
